American Genealogy
Saturday, August 4th at 10am
Librarian and Pinellas Genealogy Society instructor Harriet
Thompkins will present a class on African-American Genealogy at the West St.
Petersburg Community Library at St. Petersburg College. Ms. Thompkins will
demonstrate how African Americans can research their family histories, and will
use personal experiences to show challenges, techniques and strategies to
uncover the family trees of this specialized population.
